Routine Orders

The Routine Orders have been sent out on 2 Nov 25. Please read them as there is a lot of information in them. They are also posted on the message board behind the recruit platoon at the back of the parade square.

 

Detailed Health Questionnaire (DHQ):

Any cadet requiring a DHQ is to fill out the secure form that the DCO has sent to the parent’s email on file, if the DHQ is not filled out the cadet cannot attend unit it has been complete.

 

Health cards:

Any cadet that has a health card expiring should have received an email from the DCO to get the new details for your new health card if you have it available, please email Lt Mcinroy with the new Version Code and EXP date.

 

Call for applications- Support Committee

The support committee is looking for parents to volunteer their time and join the committee, please see any of the members of the committee for more information on Monday night.

 

Merit review boards:

We will be holding merit review boards for the following positions on 22 Nov 2025 at 1330hrs:

  1. Training Warrant Officer

  2. Standards Warrant Officer

  3. Platoon Commander

  4. Flag Party Commander

Sgts that are interested in sitting the boards must submit a cover letter and resume for each board they are sitting NLT 19 Nov 2025 at 1800hrs to

 

FTX

We are still looking for feedback from our FTX on 17-19 October 2025 please use the link to submit feedback Fall FTX Feedback – Fill out form

 

 

Operations:

 

Belleville Santa Parade:

 

We will be joining the Santa Parade in Belleville on 16 Nov 2025 please read below as these are the guidelines right from the City of Belleville Parade rules.

 

Dress: C3 if the Cadet doesn’t have then FTU/ Civilian

Drop off time 1545hrs-1600hrs

1600hrs - Street closures begin at the intersection of Bridge & Sidney

Belleville Fairgrounds/Racetrack/Quinte Curling Club

246 Bridge St W, at the Junction of Bridge St W & Sidney St

 

There is an entrance onto the Fairgrounds property at the junction of Sidney & Catharine Streets designated as a drop off zone. Police, Guards or Marshals will direct you. Advise them you are with the Army Cadets.

You can stay warm under the Grandstand until 4:20pm and a Marshal will come to get you when it’s time to slot into the float lineup at which time you will walk through the fence opening onto Bridge St to get into formation.

 

Pickup Location: Bayview Mall

Dignitaries, bands and horse riders will also turn right into the Bayview Mall and then make an immediate left turn into a designated area separate from the regular floats.

Parents picking up riders at the end zone will park on the EAST SIDE (Tim Hortons side) of the Bayview Mall … enter the Mall on that east side by the convenience store … walk through the Mall to either set of doors on the WEST SIDE to watch for floats to arrive.

The Bayview Mall will be open for staying warm and their washrooms will be available. 

Lt Mcinroy will be onsite at the end of the route to assist with parents collecting cadets PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR CADET WITHOUT LETTING A STAFF MEMBER KNOW.

Recruit Graduation

We will be having a recruit graduation parade on 24 Nov 2025

  1. Time-2030hrs

  2. Parents and guests are welcome and encouraged to join us for this celebration

  3. The reviewing Officer will be LCdr K. Vos, OC SEOA

  4. There will be awards and presentations made Please see the Routine Orders for the list.

Mess Dinner:

The Christmas Mess dinner is quickly approaching Parents and guests are encouraged to attend please see the details below:

  • Date: 13 Dec 2025

  • Time: Doors open 1600 Dinner starts at 1700

  • Who: All cadets, Staff, Support committee, parents, and guest,

  • Cost: Cadets- Free

  •           Parents and Guests $45.00/PP

Last day to purchase tickets : 24 NOV 2025 after this date we will not be able to accommodate any extra tickets as we have to have final numbers to the caterer the next morning.

Attached you will find the Letter with all information.
