Writer's picture: 2818 Army Cadet Corps2818 Army Cadet Corps

Good morning everyone,

We had a fantastic first night back last Monday, welcoming back Capt Fitzgerald. We also welcomed 2 more cadets into the unit. Please continue to tell your friends and bring in new cadets. Let's grow the unit together.

Last week there was a form sent out regarding community service and physical fitness. Please bring that form back tomorrow night. Alternatively, you can fill out the digital copy at this link https://forms.office.com/r/LZR0sYVB2H

On Saturday, January 18, 2025, we will be having the Merit Review Boards. This is for WO’s and MWO’s to get promoted to the rank of MWO or CWO, these cadets were briefed by the CO and TrgO on Monday evening. Just a reminder that all documents are due to the TrgO tomorrow Night.

While the MRB is happening, I have made arrangements for the remainder of the unit to tour the Hasty P Museum located in the armoury. Timings for this will be from 1300-1600. The Dress will be the Green Unit T-shirt and appropriate pants, Please bring a water bottle.

Supply will be closed this Monday and no uniforms will be issued this week.

If your cadet has been absent since before the Holiday break we will be calling this Monday to follow up with you. If they will not be returning, we can make arrangements to return the uniform.

On January 27, we will be working with cadets on getting their 365 accounts activated, please bring a cellphone this night as it is needed to complete the activation.
