Weekly Update November 11 to 17

Hello Everyone

Thank you to everyone who has participated in the events leading up to Remembrance Day.  I appreciate your commitment to honouring those who have served Canada while keeping citizens of the world safe from strife.  Conflicts continue today around the world, and it is just as important today to acknowledge the people who are willing to help those who are struggling within these conflicts.  We will remember them.

Sat Nov 9:  No Stone Left Alone Belleville Cemetery 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm with 608 Belleville Air Cadets.  We will be honouring those who are buried there - close to 350 people at this site alone.  Dress is C1 (dress uniform) or FTU in lieu of C1.  If your cadet does not have a uniform yet, then respectful appropriate clothing ("Sunday Best") is fine.

Mon Nov 11:  Remembrance Day service at Belleville Cenotaph 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Dress is C1 or FTU in lieu of C1. 2818 will form up on Reid Street prior to the parade.  Cadets will be dismissed immediately after marching off the parade and can depart with their parents.

We are continuing to update files through the Annual Validation forms, Detailed Health Questionnaires and OHIP card updates.  If your cadet's file is still open in any of these areas, please expect a phone call from one of our staff as we need to update their file.

If your cadet is not returning to training this year, please advise and return all uniforms and parts to the corps asap.

The next training will be:
